SuperNotes — Privacy, Terms, Refunds & Data Deletion

Last Updated: 20/11/2025
This page contains our combined Legal Hub: Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Refund & Subscription Policy, Data Deletion instructions, and other important legal and support information. It explains how SuperNotes handles local data, optional cloud and AI features, subscriptions via Google Play Billing, your rights under privacy laws, security measures, third party services, and how to contact us.

Overview & Scope

These combined policies apply to the SuperNotes mobile application developed by Saturn Edge and any related services we provide. They describe how we handle data, subscriptions, refunds, deletion requests, security, and your legal rights. The app currently operates primarily offline; cloud, AI, or account features will be optional and require explicit consent.

Definitions

In these documents: "App" or "SuperNotes" means the SuperNotes mobile application. "We", "us", "our" means Saturn Edge. "You" or "user" means the person using the App. "Personal Data" means information that identifies you or can be reasonably linked to you. "Local data" means data stored only on your device.

Privacy Policy — Summary

SuperNotes prioritizes user privacy. By default the App stores notes and customizations locally on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your notes or custom content without your explicit consent. Optional features that use cloud or AI processing will be opt-in and accompanied by clear consent screens describing what data is sent and why.

No Account Required (Current)

Most users can use the App without creating an account. No name, phone number, or email is required unless you choose an optional account or cloud feature later.

Local-Only Storage

Your notes, themes, fonts, emojis, backups, and settings remain on your device. Backups you create are saved to the folder or location you choose. We do not access these files unless you explicitly upload them to a cloud service or enable a sync feature.

Offline Backup & Restore

Backup and restore operations are local. You control where backups are stored. If you choose to upload a backup to a cloud provider outside the App, that upload is governed by that provider's terms.

Foreground Service for Quick Notes

The quick-note notification feature runs on-device to capture notes quickly. It does not transmit content off your device unless you explicitly share or sync it.

Biometric Security

Biometric unlock uses your device's secure subsystem. SuperNotes does not store or process raw biometric data. Biometric decisions are handled locally by your device.

Crash Reporting, Analytics & Opt-out

We use Firebase Crashlytics and Performance Monitoring to improve the App. These tools collect anonymized technical information such as device model, OS version, and crash stack traces. No note contents or personal identifiers are included. Where supported, an option to opt out of analytics will be offered in settings.

Push Notifications

Notifications are used for updates, reminders, and promotional offers. They do not collect personal data. You can opt out or disable notifications from your device settings.

AI Assistant & Cloud Processing

If the AI assistant or cloud-based features are enabled, they may send text or note content to secure cloud services for processing. Before any data is sent you will see a consent prompt that explains exactly what is transmitted, how it is used, how long it is retained, and how to opt out. Sensitive content handling will be described clearly at the time of use.

Ads and Monetization

We may show non-personalized ads in future releases. If personalized ads are ever considered, we will ask for explicit consent and explain what data is used. Subscriptions and one-time purchases are available as an alternative to ads.

Third Party Services

SuperNotes may integrate third party services such as Firebase for analytics and crash reporting, and Google Play Billing for payments. Use of third party services is subject to their privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies for more detail.

Terms of Service — Summary

By installing or using SuperNotes you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. The App is licensed to you by Saturn Edge for personal or internal business use. You are responsible for content you create with the App and must comply with applicable laws. Saturn Edge retains intellectual property rights in the App.

License Limitations

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the App except as permitted by law or with our written permission. Unauthorized use may result in termination of your license.

Account & Cloud Features (Optional)

If optional accounts or cloud sync are introduced, they will require explicit consent and follow these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We will provide clear controls for sync, sharing, and deletion.

Subscriptions & Google Play Billing

All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed via Google Play Billing. By purchasing, you agree to Google Play’s terms and billing procedures. We do not store your payment card information.

Refund & Subscription Policy — Summary

Google Play handles refunds for purchases made through its platform in accordance with its policies. For refund requests, please use the Google Play purchase history or support flow. You may also contact us for guidance; we will assist but final decisions and processing are handled by Google Play and relevant payment processors.

How to Request a Refund

1. Open Google Play Store. 2. Go to Account > Purchases > Order history. 3. Find the SuperNotes purchase and select Report a problem or Request a refund and follow the prompts. If you need help, email helpsaturnedge@gmail.com and include your order ID and a brief explanation.

Subscription Renewal & Cancellation

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. To cancel, manage your subscription from your Google Play account. Cancelling prevents future charges but generally allows access until the end of the paid period.

Data Deletion & Account Removal — Overview

Local data is controlled by you and remains on your device until you remove it. If account or cloud features are later added, you will be able to export and permanently delete your account and cloud data on request. We detail both local deletion steps and future cloud deletion procedures below.

Deleting Local Notes & Backups

To delete notes: open the App, select the note or folder, and choose delete. To remove backups, locate the backup file in your device storage and delete it using a file manager. Deleted items may be permanently removed depending on settings and device behavior.

Exporting Your Data

Use the App export or share options to export notes. Exported files are stored where you choose and can be managed by you. If you need an export of cloud data in future, we will provide an export format and procedure.

If Accounts or Cloud Sync Are Introduced

When cloud or account features are available you will be able to: request export of your account data, request permanent deletion of account and associated cloud data, revoke cloud sync, and unlink connected services. Detailed instructions and contact channels will be provided at launch.

How to Request Deletion

Before account features exist: delete local files directly on your device. After account/cloud features exist: email helpsaturnedge@gmail.com with your account email and details. We will verify the request and confirm removal steps. We may require proof of identity to prevent unauthorized deletions.

Data Retention

We retain only the data necessary to deliver services and comply with legal obligations. Local files remain on your device until you remove them. For cloud data, retention periods will be disclosed when such features are introduced.

Security Measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data related to cloud or account features, including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable. Local data security also depends on your device settings and physical control of the device. We recommend using device-level encryption and secure backups.

Your Rights under Privacy Laws

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights such as access, correction, export, restriction, objection, and deletion of personal data. If you are covered by GDPR, CCPA, or similar laws and account features exist, you can request to exercise these rights by contacting helpsaturnedge@gmail.com.

Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saturn Edge is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Our liability for direct damages is limited to the purchase price paid for the App or subscription during the prior 12 months where applicable.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These policies are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Saturn Edge is registered. Any disputes should first be raised with us via email at helpsaturnedge@gmail.com to seek an amicable resolution.
